Jeong Eun-Young
Abstract
In order to provide basic data for the emotional health of college students nationwide in the COVID-19 situation, we sought to determine the factors that depression and subjective stress experience affect quality of life. This study used raw data from the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency¡¯s 2021 Community Health Survey. Finally, 8,322 people were subjected to statistical analysis. Depression and subjective stress experience were variables that affected the quality of life for both male and female students in the COVID-19 situation. In the COVID-19 situation, university-level screening is necessary to early detect college students experiencing depression and subjective stress. In addition, there is a need to actively support them so that they can lead healthy lives as healthy members of society by carrying out appropriate and timely interventions.
